The Sooners begin regular season action against San Diego at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center in Tucson, Ariz., on Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. OU is led by returning Big 12 Player of the Year and No. 3 ranked Anda Perianu (Braila, Romania) as well as freshman newcomer Gabby Baker (Gold Coast, Australia) who is expected to be a strong addition to the Sooner lineup.
Oklahoma looks to improve on an impressive 2003 season which saw OU selected for the NCAA Regional Championships for the first time since 1998. The Sooners also sent two players to the NCAA Individual Championships.
