OU Mens Tennis Doubles Duo Defeated at ITA All-America

NORMAN, Okla. Oklahoma sophomore Alexei Ivanov (Izhevsk, Russia) and junior Matt Long (Ft. Worth, Texas) were defeated in doubles action in the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships today in Chattanooga, Tenn. North Carolina's duo of Raian Luchici and Nicholas Monroe overcame Ivanov and Long 8-6 at the Atlanta Community Tennis Association Champions Club.

The Oklahoma duo now move on to the first round of doubles consolation. They are set to begin competition Fri., Oct. 10 at 1p.m.
