Perianu and Saluri Finish Run at ITA/All-American

Oklahoma senior Anda Perianu (Braila, Romania) and junior Heather Saluri (Des Moines, Iowa) lost their second-round qualifying match Wednesday in the 2003 Riviera/ITA All-American Women's All-American Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Perianu and Saluri fell to sixth-seeded Amanda Johnson and Tory Zawacki of Vanderbilt, 8-4. The OU duo, which was pre-season ranked 25th by the ITA, went 1-1 in the tournament.

Next up for the OU women's tennis team is the ITA Regional Tournament to be played in Salt Lake City, Utah, Oct. 22-26.
