Garrison Defeated in First Round of ITA All-American

NORMAN, Okla. Oklahoma sophomore Tommy Garrison (Enid, Okla.) was eliminated in the first round of pre-qualifying singles action in the 2003 Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships today in Chattanooga, Tenn. Brigham Young's Alonso Medina overcame Garrison 6-4, 6-4 at the Atlanta Community Tennis Association Champions Club.

OU sophomore Alexei Ivanov (Izhevsk, Russia) and junior Matt Long (Ft. Worth, Texas) will begin doubles competition Sat., Oct. 4.
