Women's Tennis Travels To Texas Christian

NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma women's tennis team looks to stay undefeated as they take on No. 22 Texas Christian on Thursday, Feb. 21. Match time is set for 2 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. At 5-0, OU is off to its best start since winning the first 10 matches of the 1995-96 season.
The No. 61 Sooners defeated then-No. 59 New Mexico, 4-3, in their only other road match in Albuquerque on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Oklahoma's four other wins have come at home against Oklahoma Baptist (twice), Minnesota and St. Louis.
TCU is 6-2 on the season, coming off a 4-0 sweep over then-No. 26 Florida International on Sunday, Feb. 17.
Oklahoma returns home on Friday, March 1, against Oral Roberts at 1:30 p.m. This will be the Sooners' first match at the newly constructed OU Headington Family Tennis Center located at Chatauqua and Imhoff.
