Men's Tennis Falls to Texas Tech

The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team lost its first Big 12 Conference match of the season to Texas Tech, 6-1, Friday in Lubbock, Texas. The Sooners drop to 1-3 on the season and, 0-1, in the conference with the loss .

Sooner sophomore Chris Mitchell scored OU's only point, dropping Richard Crabtree, 6-3, 6-2. Sophomore Matt Ogle forced Ben Gudzelak to three sets, before falling 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.

Texas Tech swept doubles play to capture the doubles point.

Oklahoma returns to action on Sunday at Baylor. The Sooners and the Bears will take the court at 1 p.m.
