Women's Tennis Prepares For ITA Regional Championships

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team is set to travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA Regional Championships on Oct. 24-28. The qualifying rounds begin at 8 a.m. on Oct. 24, followed by the main draw on Oct. 25 at 8 a.m.

The Sooner squad will include six players: junior Annette Bryntesson and freshmen Elena Jirnova, Anda Perianu, Jessica Braver, Bethany Griffin and Heather Saluri.

Other teams competing in the regionals include Air Force, Boise State, BYU, Colorado State, Creighton, Denver, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Montana, Montana State, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Southwest Missouri State, Saint Louis, Tulsa, Utah, Utah State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
