Sooner Men's Tennis Fares Well In Second Day Of Play

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team was led by performances of junior Tobias Kronlein and freshman Brad Prigmore, who won a combined four singles matches in the second day of competition at the Texas-Arlington Invitational.
Kronlein defeated Oklahoma Baptists' Johan Ohlsson 6-1, 6-2, and Wichita State's Juan Escalante 6-4, 6-1, while teaming with junior Chris Mitchell in doubles for a 8-5 victory over Baylor's Mike Garcia and Nathan McGregor. Prigmore dominated Johan Nyborg of Oklahoma Baptist to win the match 6-1, 6-2 while claiming another victory over Wichita State's Ben Cramp by scores of 6-2 and 6-4. Prigmore teamed with junior Matt Ogle in doubles, suffering a 9-7 loss to UTA's Tom Zarzeczny and Alon Goldshuv.
The Sooners round out the invitational on Sunday with singles matches against Texas-Pan American and Centenary at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively.
