OU Men's Tennis Knocked Off By No. 33 Indiana

EDMOND, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team was defeated, 5-1, by No. 33 Indiana this afternoon at the Oaktree Country Club Indoor Tennis Courts in Edmond, Okla. The Sooners drop to 2-2 on the season. Indiana improved to 3-0.

The Hoosiers dominated the doubles action winning 8-5, 8-5 and 8-4. OU got its lone point on the afternoon at the number one singles slot where Dusty Beard was victorious over Milan Rakvica who retired in the second set at 6-6. Beard had won the first set, 6-2. At the number six singles position, OU's Tobias Kronlein was defeated by Rahman Smiley, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the only match to be pushed to a third set.

Next up, the Sooners travel to Arlington, Texas to face No. 75 Texas-Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 19. Match time is set for 10 a.m.
