RALEIGH, N.C. — The Oklahoma men's and women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Raleigh Relays, as six Sooner distance runners competed across two days at the Paul Derr Track Facility.

Four Sooners competed Thursday night, starting off with Evans Biwott's sixth-place finish in the men's 5,000 meters. Biwott clocked 13:39.12 to move to No. 4 in OU history.

In the men's 10,000 meters, Ronald Ngetich led the way with a personal-best 28:30.17 to place sixth, improving to No. 2 in program history. Shadrack Kiptoo followed with a time of 29:16.72, ranking No. 9 all-time at Oklahoma.

On Friday, Leah Jeruto posted a strong performance in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing second in 9:57.41. The mark ranks No. 2 in the NCAA this season.

Freshman Domtila Cheruto closed out the meet with a record-breaking performance in the women's 10,000 meters, placing third in 32:18.83 to set a new school record. The performance marks her third program record of the year, as she previously set indoor records in the 5,000 meters and as part of the distance medley relay team.
