NORMAN — Down 5-1 halfway through the third inning, No. 4 Oklahoma (27-2, 2-0 SEC) scored seven unanswered runs and
Allyssa Parker threw three shutout innings in relief as the Sooners defeated (RV) Auburn (19-9, 2-3 SEC), 8-5, Saturday, March 14.
Four Sooners had multi-hit games and the OU pitchers worked around seven Auburn hits by fanning 10 on the day.

As it was on Friday, Auburn struck first with the long ball as Alyssa Hasting hit a two-run home run to right in the first.
Miali Guachino responded by fanning the side.
OU got one back in the bottom half as
Kasidi Pickering reached on a single and
Gabbie Garcia eventually scored her with a base hit through the right side.
The Tigers used another two-run homer in the second, this time from Ma'Nia Womack, taking a 4-1 lead.
After Guachino retired the first two batters of the third, AnnaLea Adams homered to center, bringing Auburn's lead to 5-1.
Abby Dayton doubled to right to start the third and
Kasidi Pickering homered to straightaway left, getting OU within two.
OU scrapped out two runs to tie the game in the fifth.
Kendall Wells roped a one-out single and with two away
Kai Minor lofted a fly ball to right center that dropped, giving her a triple and the Sooners another run.
Isabela Emerling flared the game-tying RBI single to left field one pitch later.
Allyssa Parker set down Auburn in the sixth with the help of a great throw by
Kendall Wells and a tag from second baseman
Ailana Agbayani on an Auburn steal attempt. The Sooners scored three runs in the bottom half, starting with a leadoff double by Dayton. Pickering walked,
Ella Parker grounded the runners up a base and Wells plated Dayton with an RBI groundout. Garcia doubled in Pickering and Agbayani eventually worked an RBI walk.
Allyssa Parker allowed a leadoff single but coaxed two lineouts and a groundout to finish the game.
