John Jacobs Invitational Schedule Adjusted

NORMAN – The Oklahoma track & field team has announced a schedule change for this week's John Jacobs Invitational, to be held at the John Jacobs Track & Field Complex. Due to predicted inclement weather, the home meet will be moved up one day to Thursday, April 3. Additionally, the high school portion of the meet has been canceled.
The John Jacobs Invitational, which features free admission, is tentatively scheduled to begin Thursday at 11 a.m. CT with field events, followed by running events at 1:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change based on the number of entries.
A brief senior recognition ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. CT, honoring 30 Sooners.
The Oklahoma Track & Field/Cross Country Alumni Reunion, hosted by the Varsity O Association, will proceed as scheduled on Friday, April 4.
