SARASOTA, Fla. – Oklahoma secured a third-place finish at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational on Monday, finishing just one stroke behind co-champions Ohio State and Michigan State. Three Sooners placed inside the top 15, with two earning top-five finishes.

The Sooners (-3, 861) notched their third third-place finish of the season behind standout performances from freshman Audrey Rischer (T5, -3) and junior MaKayla Tyrrell (T5, -3).

Competing at the par-72 Palm Aire Country Club, Tyrrell delivered a bogey-free 69 in the final round to climb seven spots on the leaderboard, while Rischer posted rounds of 69-70-74 to record her second career top-five finish.

Junior Savannah Barber (T13, E) matched her opening-round 71 in the final 18, sinking four birdies en route to her third top-20 finish of the 2024-25 season and second consecutive top-15 result to start the spring. Barber's 14 birdies led the 81-player field across 54 holes.

Junior Gracie Mayo (T42, +7) carded three birdies to counter a triple bogey on the front nine, then added two birdies and three bogeys on the back to finish with a 1-over 73. She placed 42nd overall.

Senior Reagan Chaney (T60, +10) wrapped up the tournament in 60th.

The Sooners have now finished inside the top five in five of their last six events. Their 46 birdies ranked third in the field, and they were one of four teams to notch a field-best four eagles.

Oklahoma, ranked 36th in the Scoreboard by Clippd NCAA rankings entering the week, finished ahead of four teams in the top 40, including one inside the top 25 in No. 24 Oklahoma State, who placed 11th.

The Buckeyes and Spartans shared the team title at 4-under, with Oklahoma the only other team to finish under par. College of Charleston (+1) and Michigan (+5) rounded out the top five, while Ohio State's Kary Hollenbaugh (1, -9) claimed the individual title by four shots.

The Sooners return to action at the MountainView Collegiate, set for March 2-3 in Tucson, Ariz.
