Green Named Big 12 Athlete of the Week

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Oklahoma track and field sophomore BJ Green was named the men's Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Green competed in the men's triple jump at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he recorded a personal-best leap of 16.62 (54-6.50) to place first.
With this jump, Green secured the second-farthest leap in the NCAA this season and launched from No. 6 in OU's all-time performance list to No. 2.
This accolade marks Oklahoma's first weekly honor of the 2023-24 season.
