Barber Tied for Third After Camel Cup First Round

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Sophomore Savannah Barber fired a 4-under 68 and led the Oklahoma women's golf team in the opening round of the Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach Golf Links. The Sooners finished the first round in eighth (+27, 387), counting the Sooners' top five scores.
Sophomore Isabelle Schlick and junior Reagan Chaney each fired a 4-over 76. Schlick made her debut in the Crimson and Cream.
Chaney, sophomore Emily Hun (11-over, 83) and sophomore Gracie Mayo (12-over, 84) made their first appearances at the Carmel Cup.
Senior Nina Lang (13-over, 85) rounded out the Oklahoma golfers in the field.
Stanford finished the opening round 8-under 352 and Arkansas is in second (7-under, 353).
