Olivia Lueking Named To Academic All-America Second Team

NORMAN – Olivia Lueking was named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America Second Team as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Lueking followed up a stellar freshman season with another successful year. She racked up seven first-place finishes, including a Big 12 Outdoor title in pole vault after clearing 13-11.25 (4.25m), and currently holds both OU indoor and outdoor school records in the event.

The sophomore from League City, Texas, earned first-team All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships after finishing second in pole vault. She then went on to place ninth at NCAA Outdoors for second-team All-America honors.

She finishes her underclassmen career with three conference titles and four All-America accolades under her belt.
