39 Entries Headed To NCAA West Regional

NORMAN - The Oklahoma men's and women's track and field teams qualified 39 entries, including four relay teams, to the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento, Calif., on the campus of Sacramento State, May 24-27. The final regional qualifiers were announced Thursday afternoon by the NCAA and USTFCCCA.

Student-athletes that qualified had to have been ranked in the top 48 of their respective events or be among the top 24 relay teams. Competitors with the top 12 times or marks in their individual events advance to Eugene, Ore., and the NCAA Outdoor Championships, held June 7-10 on the campus of the University of Texas. For relay teams, the best 12 relay teams at both the East and West Preliminary round sites qualify.
