SUNSET, S.C. – Oklahoma women's golf concluded the Clemson Invitational opening round at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in 16th Friday afternoon.
The Sooners (+29, 317) are seven strokes back of 13th.
Savannah Barber and Mikhaela Fortuna are tied for 49th (5-over 77). Fortuna completed the front nine 1-under 35 and tallied three birdies. Barber tallied back-to-back birdies on the fifth and sixth holes and concluded her first nine holes 2-over 38.
Kaylee Vesely is tied for 66th (8-over 80) and matched Barber with a pair of birdies.
Nina Lang and Meagan Winans are tied for 78th (11-over 83).
Maria Fernanda Martinez, Oklahoma's lone individual, is tied for 66th. Martinez netted two birdies on the 11th and 13th holes.
