Veronique Drouin-Luttrell announced the signing of Audrey Rischer during the early signing period on Friday.
Rischer is ranked eighth in the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings. The Columbia, Mo., product competed in eight AJGA events, including five top-20 finishes, and was named the 2023 Columbia Daily Tribune Female Athlete of the Year.
"I'm very excited to add Audrey Rischer to our program," said Drouin-Luttrell. "She brings a wealth of tournament experience and will be a great addition to our team. From the beginning of her recruiting process, it was clear Audrey was a perfect fit for our program. We look forward to her embracing our culture and being a great Sooner."
Rischer finished second at the AJGA Stan Utley and Mid-America Youth Golf Foundation Junior Championship (74-71-67, 212) and eighth at the Justin Thomas Junior Championship (71-70-75, 216). She tied for eighth at the Kathy Whitworth Invitational (74-73, 147), ninth at the 74th U.S. Girls' Junior (73-74, 147) and 20th at the Dustin Johnson World Junior (79-89-73, 234).
Rischer attended Fr. Tolton Catholic High School and earned 2023 Missouri All-State honors after her fourth-place finish at the Missouri State High School Athletic Association Class 4 Championship. She won the individual state title at the 2022 MSHSAA 3 Championship and set the MSHSAA 18-hole state record, carding a 12-under 60 at the 2021 Helias Invite.
