Sooners Host First Two Rounds of NCAA Tournament

NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's tennis earned the No. 2 national seed, the highest in program history, in the 2022 NCAA Championship, the NCAA announced Monday evening. The Sooners will host the first and second round on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
OU will open the tournament against Bryant (12-7) on Friday at 3 p.m. CT while Arizona State and San Diego will face off on the other side of the bracket at noon. The winner of each match will play on Saturday at 1 p.m., with the winner advancing to the super-regional competition May 13 or 14.
The 2022 season marks the program's 12th NCAA tournament appearance and third under head coach Audra Cohen.

Singles and doubles selections and brackets will be revealed Tuesday, May 3.
The 2022 championship will take place in Champaign, Ill., May 19-22.
