BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Oklahoma men's and women's track and field teams set six new meet records and claimed several first-place finishes at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster in Bryan-College Station, Texas on Saturday.
Redshirt senior
Lauren Jones started off the day with a first-place finish in the women's hammer throw, marking 215-3 (65.60m) to set a new meet record. Following behind, senior
Abby Moore placed third with a mark at 189-11 (57.88m), while junior
Geraldine Udo took fifth, marking a 177-1 (53.98m).
Sweeping the hammer throw for the Sooners, senior
Bayley Campbell took first on the men's side, marking a 221-8 (67.57m) for first place to break the Alumni Muster record. Right behind,
Edward Jeans finished second, throwing for 206-6 (62.95m).
Redshirt junior
Vernon Turner shattered the high jump meet record, clearing 7-2.25 (2.19m) for first place. The Sooner squad followed behind, where freshman
Kason O'Riley cleared 6-11 (2.11m) for third, while senior
Chris Banks and junior
Keith Drapeau tied for fifth with the height at 6-9 (2.06m).
In men's shot put, redshirt senior
Cooper Campbell obliterated the meet record in shot put, throwing for 61-7.50 (18.78m) to claim first place.
Diego Trevino threw for third place at 58-8.75 (17.90m), while junior
Bryant Parlin marked 56-6 (17.22m) for fifth place.

Mikeisha Welcome shattered the meet record in women's triple jump, marking 44-0 (13.41m) (1.4 wind), while senior
Nicole Ezeoke leaped to 41-4.25 (12.60m) for fourth place.
Jones was back for women's discus, where she broke the previous meet record with a mark at 174-5 (53.16m), before Texas State's Alyssa Wilson set a new meet record. Jones ended the day with a second-place finish. Sophomore
Paige Low marked 162-4 (49.48m) for fourth place.

Rayvon Allen grabbed second in men's long jump, marking a 24-11.75 (7.61m).
Senior
Madison Langley-Walker took second in women's high jump, clearing 5-9.25 (1.76m), while redshirt senior
Ja'Sha Sloan cleared 5-5.25 (1.66m) for fourth place.
The Sooners claimed five out of the top 10 spots in women's shot put. Junior
Payden Montana came in second (17.02m), Moore in fourth (16.33m),
Faith Ette in seventh (15.33m), Jones in eighth (15.27m) and Low in ninth (15.26m).
Kayla Kurtz, a junior, grabbed fourth place in the women's javelin throw, marking 146-11 (44.78m).

Jelaani Davis leaped a season-best mark at 50-6.75 (15.41m) for third place, while redshirt senior
Garry Williams claimed fifth place with a mark at 49-3.75 (15.03m).
Mikeisha Welcome finished eighth in women's triple jump, marking 18-10.50 (5.75m).
Parlin took eighth in men's discus throw, marking a 154-4 (47.05m).
Starting off on the track, redshirt senior
Camri Austin grabbed second in the women's 100-meter hurdles, clocking a 13.31 (-0.6 wind).
Freshman
Jada Atkinson clocked a 54.50 in the women's 400-meter dash to finish first in her heat and fifth place overall.
Junior
Richard Kuykendoll clocked a personal best at 45.34, to take first place, set a new meet record and move to No. 4 in OU history.
Senior
Kennedy Blackmon took first with a season-best time at 23.15 in the women's 200-meter dash for first place.
Newcomer
Anass Mghari came in second in the men's 800-meter run, with a time at 1:49.68. On the women's side, senior
Jordyn Kaplan finished sixth with a personal best time at 2:10.96.
Redshirt senior
Demarius Smith clocked a 20.85 for fourth place in the men's 200-meter dash, making his first meet back since Texas Relays.
Freshman
Josh Bour finished seventh in the men's 100-meter dash, clocking a 10.35 (1.2w), while
redshirt senior
Karson Kowalchuk took eighth with a PR time at 10.37 (1.2w).
Langley-Walker took second in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a season-best time at 58.27, while freshman
Jania Hodges ran a personal best time at 1:00.51 for sixth place.
The men's 4x400-meter relay squad of
