LINCOLN, Neb. – The Oklahoma men's and women's track and field team capped day two of the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., notching four victories and numerous personal bests.
"Another solid meet for our program," said head coach Tim Langford. "Everything from another school record in pole vault to personal records in shot put, as well as tons of season bests and event wins leaves me feeling optimistic about this weekend."

Action began in the women's 200-meter dash where senior
Kennedy Blackmon placed fourth with a time of 24.39, while freshman
Mikayla Hayes ran a personal best at 25.28 and finished at the top of her heat.
On the men's side, redshirt senior
Demarius Smith took the top spot, clocking a 21.22, while junior
Alajuwan Robinson (21.59) and redshirt senior
Marlowe Mosley (21.60) took fourth and fifth, respectively.
In the women's 60-meter hurdles, redshirt senior
Camri Austin saw major success, clocking a first-place finish and season-best of 8.28, putting her fifth in the conference and 28
th in the NCAA.
For the men, redshirt senior
Jasher Foster grabbed second with a time of 7.86.
Four Sooners saw the 60-meter dash finals, but freshman
Mikayla Hayes made another big splash in her career, clocking a personal best, 7.56, for the second time at the Husker Invite to take second. On the men's side, redshirt senior
Karson Kowalchuk was the only Sooner in the finals, taking fifth with a time of 6.78.
Redshirt junior
Jordan Gledhill timed a personal best at 4:15.83 in the men's mile to finish sixth, while senior
Jordyn Kaplan also clocked a PR at 4:55.96 for the women's mile to place fifth.
Junior
Elise Welch placed fifth in the women's 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:21.70 for a personal best.
In the women's 3000-meter run,
Jordyn Kaplan took third with a 9:54.95, while junior
Madeline Medina grabbed fourth with a personal best at 9:55.98.
Closing out the meet, the men's 4x400-relay team made up of
Marlowe Mosley,
Demarius Smith,
Isaiah Levingston and
Richard Kuykendoll grabbed first place with a time of 3:09.41.
Kicking it off on the field, freshman
Kason O'Riley placed second, clearing a 6-10.75 (2.10) in the men's high jump.
In women's shot put, junior
Payden Montana threw a personal best of 57-0.25 (17.38m) to take second, while redshirt senior
Lauren Jones (51-5.75 (15.69m)) and sophomore
Paige Low (PR 49-11 (15.21m)) finished sixth and ninth, respectively.
In triple jump, junior
Mikeisha Welcome took the top spot for the women, leaping a 42-1.15 (12.83m), while
Allanah Lee (40-2.25),
Daneesha Davidson (40-1.50), and
Nicole Ezeoke (39-8.50) took third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
For the men, redshirt senior
Garry Williams marked a 50-8 (15.44m) in men's triple jump to take third.
