NORMAN — University of Oklahoma head women's golf coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell announced the signing of one transfer and two incoming freshman during the early signing period on Thursday.
The Sooners welcome Emily (Tengteng) Hun, Reagan Chaney and Holly McLean to Norman.
"We are always excited about our signees every year, but this group adds some serious depth to our current team," said Drouin-Luttrell.
Hun attended Shangai High Tech Creative School in Macau, China and is ranked 423rd in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. She has recorded three amateur wins and recorded six top-10 finishes, including victories at the 2022 Mission Hills Jack Nicklaus Junior Championship, China Amateur Golf Open Series and the Faldo Series Shenzhen Championship
Chaney is from Ardmore, Okla., and attended Oklahoma City University her freshman season. She was named the 2022 Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year and ranked among the top five in the NAIA with a 72.55 scoring average. Chaney won three tournaments, recorded three runners-up and eight top-five finishes in her one season at OCU.
Holly McLean attends Albany Golf Academy and won 10 regional and national amateur titles, earning medalist honors at the 2018 Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship, the 2020 Cayman Islands Amateur Championship and the 2022 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship. McLean is a member of the Cayman Islands Junior National Team and the Cayman Islands Women's National Golf Team.
