Tim Langford announced Wednesday the 2022 OU outdoor track schedule.
The Sooners will start the outdoor slate March 18-19 in Fort Worth, Texas at the TCU Invitational. After a short return to Norman, the squad will head to the 94th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, March 23-26.
Following Texas Relays, OU will take a weekend off before traveling to Miami, April 8-9, for the Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
OU will host consecutive home meets in April, holding the Sooner Invite & Multis (April 15-16) and the annual John Jacobs Invitational (April 22-23) at the John Jacobs Track & Field Complex in Norman.
The Sooners will travel back to Austin for the Texas Invitational April 29-30. The following weekend, OU will compete at the Arkansas Twilight meet on May 6 to cap the outdoor regular season.
The postseason kicks off at the Big 12 Championships in Lubbock, Texas, May 13-15. The qualifying squad will travel to the NCAA West Regional Prelims on May 26-28 in Fayetteville, Ark.
The 2022 outdoor season will conclude with the NCAA Championships on June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore. The Sooners claimed four All-America honors at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Championships, highlighted by
Isaiah Levingston's runner-up finish in the men's 400-meter hurdles.
Oklahoma continues its indoor season this weekend at the Texas Tech Open & Multi in Lubbock, Texas.
