Women's Golf Prepped For The Bruzzy
March 27, 2021 | Women's Golf
LANTANA, Texas — The Oklahoma women's golf team is set for third-annual The Bruzzy tournament, hosted by North Texas at the par-72, 6,421-yard Lantana Golf Club in Lantana, Texas. The two-day, 54-hole tournament tees off on Sunday morning, when golfers will play 36 holes, before competing in Monday's final round.
"We're really excited to compete this weekend at The Bruzzy," head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said after Saturday's practice round. "We've got another opportunity to compete this week and learn about ourselves and what we're capable of."
Oklahoma seeks its seventh top-five finish in its last eight events, as Drouin-Luttrell's team will look to climb back into the top 25 after a fall that saw the Sooners inside top 10. The Sooners received votes in the latest WGCA poll.
