NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's golf team moved up two spots on the leaderboard during the second round of the Clover Cup, sitting in second place after firing a 299 (+11) on Saturday. The 15-team tournament is being played at the par-72, 6,184-yard Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ.

Oklahoma holds a two-round score of 598 (+22) through two rounds. Southern California remains in first place after firing a Saturday score of 293 (+5).

"We played pretty solid today but didn't score on the easy holes," said oU head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell. "The conditions have been tough but we are excited to keep fighting and end strong."

Freshman Libby Winans is tied for third (146; +2) through 36-holes after shooting an even-par 72 on Saturday. The freshman shaved two strokes off her opening round to sit five shots out of the lead.

Sophomores Hannah Lee and Kaitlin Milligan are tied for 15th (150; +6). Milligan shot a 73 (+1) improving four shots in her second round. Lee carded a 77 (+5). The duo is two shots out of the top 10.

Freshman Mikhaela Fortuna posted a 77 (+5) and is tied for 25th (152; +8). Senior Julienne Soo cut two shots off her Friday round, shooting a 77 (+5). Soo is tied for 42nd (156; +13).

Karen Arimoto recorded three birdies on the back-nine holes for an even-par round of 72, a seven shot improvement from her Friday round. The senior, competing as an individual, is tied for 21st (151; +7).
