As a team, Oklahoma sits in fourth place with 18 holes remaining at the par-72, 6,159-yard Medinah Country Club.
The Sooners opened their day with a 1-over 289 in the morning round before improving by three shots in the afternoon, carding a 2-under 286. OU's two-round total of 575 (-1) is one stroke behind third-place Illinois (574, -2) and five strokes back from second-place Louisville (570, -6). Kent State leads the 15-team team with a 567 (-9).
"We played consistent all day and had a blast out there," said OU head coach
Veronique Drouin-Luttrell. "We have a great game plan for tomorrow where we need to focus on ourselves and hope to take advantage of the gettable holes.
Entering the Illini Invitational with a 70.80 season stroke average, Fortuna opened her day with a bogey-free round of 69 (-3). The Philippines native carded three birdies in the afternoon to total a 2-under 70 and enter the clubhouse tied for the lead with Lauren Hartlage of Louisville.
Milligan began her day with an even-par 72 before jumping 13 spots on the leaderboard with a 4-under 68 in Monday's second round. The junior sunk six birdies en route to her lowest round in relation to par this season.

Sydney Youngblood is tied for 32nd with a two-round score of 147 (+3) while freshman
Maria Fernanda Martinez and sophomore
Libby Winans are tied for 47th at 149 (+5).
The Sooners begin their final round Tuesday morning at 9:00 CT with a shotgun start. Oklahoma will be paired with golfers from Maryland and Texas Tech.
