The Big 12 Outdoor Championship is scheduled for May 11-13 in Waco, Texas, and the opening competition to June's NCAA Championship, the NCAA West Preliminary Round, is set for May 24-26 in Sacramento, Calif. The NCAA meet will again be hosted by the University of Oregon in Eugene, June 6-9.

Women's discus will be the first event of the TCU Invitational Friday, scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. CT with the men's discus to follow. Following the discus will be the women's and men's hammer throw which will get underway at the conclusion of the discus and be the final event on Friday.

Competition will resume for the Sooners Saturday morning with the men's javelin, following the women's javelin at 9:30 a.m. Running events won't begin until the afternoon with the women's 400-meter relay set to start at 1 p.m.
