NORMAN – OU women's golfer Hannah Wood finished the third and final round of the NCAA Bryan Regional in a share of 12th place. The par-72, 3,373-yard Texas Traditions Golf Club served as the host site for the event.

The sophomore shot a three-round 215 (-1) in the tournament, which advances three individuals not on a qualifying NCAA Championships team. Baylor's Laura Lonardi (-4), Louisville's Olivia Cason (-3) and Gonzaga's Bianca Pagdanganan (-2) are the three individuals who will advance to the championships. In addition, Georgia, Arizona, UCLA, Furman, Miami and Texas are the six teams who qualify for NCAAs.

Wood posted a 77 (+5) on Saturday, and the 12th-place finish marks Wood's ninth top-20 showing in 10 tournaments this season. The Centennial, Colo., native ends her sophomore campaign with a 72.79 (+.97) season-scoring average, which is the second-best average vs. par in OU program history. Wood's 17 par-or-better rounds this season also marks the second most in school history.

“Overall, Hannah had a great year, and I'm very proud of her,” OU head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said. “Even though the outcome isn't what she wanted, I believe she will learn a ton from this and will bounce back better next year.”

The NCAA Regional marks the final event of the season for OU. Full results for the tournament can be found at GolfStat.com.
