Big 12 Announces T&F Broadcast Schedule

NORMAN - It might have been one of the best conference meets in Big 12 Conference history, especially for the Sooners, and now an extensive broadcast schedule has been released by the Conference office.
The first telecast will start today at noon central time and the rebroadcasts will continue through Thursday, May 26.
For OU, the 2016 Big 12 Championship produced a second-place finish for the now 13th-ranked women. The team finish was the best in school history. The team score total was the highest in school history, even larger than in 2007 when the OU men won the outdoor title. Avione Allgood and the women's 4x400-meter relay (Ama Pipi, Mia Mukes, Daunicia Demerson, Payton Baker) won Big 12 titles. Shortly after the meet, Sooner head coach Jim VanHootegem was named Big 12 Outdoor Women's Head Coach of the Year, another first for the Sooners.
The Sooner men finished fourth after leading the team standings for the first two days. Tyler Renton won the javelin to bring home a title.
