Sooners to Compete in Clemson Invitational

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma women's golf team is back in action this weekend (April 1-3) in Sunset, S.C., for the Clemson Invitational. The 14-team tournament is set to be played at the par-72, 6,253-yard Reserve at Lake Keowee course.
The Clemson Invitational features three top-25 teams and seven in the top 50. Thirteen of the top individual golfers in the country will compete in the tournament, including No. 78 Hannah Wood for the Sooners.
Oklahoma is coming off a 17th-place finish at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic last week. The Sooners shot a 967 (+103) and sophomore Valerie Tanguay was the top OU finisher, sharing 45th place at 235 (+19).
“We are looking forward to competing again this weekend,” OU head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said. “We've had some great practices since our last tournament.”
