NORMAN – Oklahoma women's golf tees off for its final fall tournament Friday (Oct. 28) in Wilmington, N.C., for the 15th annual Landfall Tradition.  The 18-team field features eight ranked teams, including the No. 23 Sooners. The three-day tournament, hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington, will be played on the par-72, 6,166-yard Pete Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall.

The Sooners head to Wilmington after a sixth-place finish at the Jim West Challenge at the par-72, 6,137-yard Fazio Course at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. Oklahoma logged a three-round score of 862 (-2), with sophomore Julienne Soo leading the team with a 207 (-9) and finishing in a share of third place. Soo shot under par all three rounds. Teammate Valerie Tanguay was the only other Sooner to finish in the top 25, tying for 15th place at 214 (-2).

“This fall has gone by so quickly,” OU head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said. “We've played solid and it's been fun to watch this team grow together. We've worked hard all semester and have to continue playing our own game.”

The Sooners are slated to tee off the first round at 9:09 a.m. CT. Live scoring will be available at Golfstat.com.
