High School Schedule Altered

NORMAN -- Projected serious weather situations have prompted meet officials for the high school division of the John Jacobs Invitational to alter the schedule for Friday.
The start of the running events has been moved up to 10:30 a.m. Field events will still begin at 10 a.m.
The high school meet features Lawton, Lawton Eisenhower, Moore, Altus, Edmond Memorial, Southmoore, Elgin, Duncan, Edmond North, Putnam City, Owasso, Millwood, Heritage Hall, Edmond Santa Fe, Lincoln Christian and Norman North.
There is no admision fee for the meet and parking is available for fans in the Duck Pond lot directly north of the track facility.
Following the end of the high school meet, the collegiate hammer throw for men and women is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. The rest of the collegiate meet is scheduled for Saturday. The field events are scheduled for 10 a.m. and the running events are set to start at 12:15.
