NORMAN - Women's shot put dominated at the Tyson Invitational for the University of Oklahoma track and field programs while many other Sooners set personal records at three different meets across the country.
Three women shot putters finished in the top 10 at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., with two in the top three. Avione Allgood placed second with a throw of 51-11.00, and Jess Woodard came in right behind her in third with a 51-7.75. Chamaya Turner finished sixth with a throw of 51.5.50.

Three Sooners set PRs at the Tyson. Eric Graf posted a 14:30.84, good for second place, in the invitational 5,000-meter to improve his PR. Will Hogston, also in the invitational 5,000-meter, recorded a PR of 14:34.21 and finished third.
Shonderius Howard cleared 6-7.00 in the high jump to improve his PR.

Two sprinters set personal records and moved up the all-time top 10 in Albuquerque, N.M., at the Don Kirby Invitational. Mike Wells ran a 6.71 in the men's 60-meter dash to finish fourth and move to sixth on the career best list. Another freshman, Hannah Cunliffe clocked a 7.28 in the women's 60 to finish fourth and tie for third on OU's all-time career top 10. The race was just her second as a Sooner.
In Seattle at the Husky Classic, Jacob Burcham and Dylan Blankenbaker both established personal records in the mile run. Burcham came in 13th with a time of 4:01.52 while Blankenbaker clocked a time of 4:07.40.
