NORMAN -- After two and a half months on the road, the University of Oklahoma wrestling squad returns home to host NC State at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 16, inside McCasland Field House.

OU last competed at home when it hosted Baker, Shorter and Oklahoma City on Saturday, Nov. 1, inside Lloyd Noble Center. The Sooners are now 5-4 overall this season after recording two dual wins last week, grabbing a 30-13 victory at American on Thursday, Jan. 8, and a 32-15 advantage at Hofstra on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Ranked Competitors
The Sooners enter the dual with three probable starters ranked in the top 20 of the latest InterMat poll in redshirt junior Cody Brewer (No. 2 at 133 pounds), redshirt senior Justin DeAngelis (No. 12 at 157 pounds) and redshirt sophomore Ross Larson (No. 11 at heavyweight). Redshirt sophomore Clark Glass is ranked according to Amateur Wrestling News, coming in at No. 19.

Matchup to Watch
In the heavyweight bout, Larson will face second-ranked and defending NCAA champion Nick Gwiazdowski. On the season, Larson is 18-3 overall, with 14 of those wins coming via fall, while Gwiazdowski is a perfect 19-0.
