Wrestled at 141 pounds … Finished his sophomore campaign with a 10-12 overall record, including a 4-8 mark in duals … Finished in fourth place as the No. 6 seed at the Big 12 Championship, aiding the Sooners to a second-place finish … Went 5-2 at the Midlands Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15):
Competed at 141 pounds … Finished his true freshman campaign with a 14-17 overall record, including a 6-10 mark in dual competition … One of four true freshmen consistently in OU's starting lineup … Took third at his first Big 12 Championship as the No. 4 seed, defeating No. 3 seed Michael Morales of West Virginia by decision, 3-1, in the third-place bout … Finished fifth at Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational as Sooners won 16th straight team tittle … Placed sixth at the Reno Tournament of Champions in December, helping the Sooners to a sixth-place finish … Took second at inaugural Aloha Open with 2-1 record … Opened the season with five straight wins … Recorded nine wins via decision, two by major decision and two falls.
