Sooners Honor Seniors Saturday

NORMAN, Okla. -- The 45th annual John Jacobs Invitational Saturday marked the final Norman competition for 10 Sooner seniors. The track and field programs took time Saturday to honor their seniors. Here's a quick look at those OU celebrated during the meet.

Kristen Carson – Attended Stillwell High School ... A solid performer for the Sooners in the sprints and long jump for four seasons … Majoring in health and exercise sciences.

Ashley Kowalewski – From Argyle, Texas ... Earned All-Big 12 honors in the javelin after starting Sooner career as a pole vaulter … Majoring in health and exercise sciences.

Morgan Nichols – From Ennis, Texas ... A consistent performer for the Sooners in the pole vault whose best mark ranks seventh on the career top 10 … Majoring in finance.

Molly Williams – Attended Bishop McGuinness High School in OKC ... A four-time All-Big 12 honoree and has four marks on the all-time career top 10 after her Sooner career in cross country and track and field … Earned her bachelor of business administration with special distinction in human resources management in May 2013 … Is working on her master's degree in administrative leadership … Will earn her fifth Academic All-Big 12 first-team honor later this spring ... Married to former Sooner distance runner, Kevin Williams ... Proud parents of a son, Tommy.

Donva Adkism – Attended East Central High School in Tulsa, Okla. ... Finished seventh at the John McDonnell Invitational with a then-career best 21-7.25 … Improved career best to 22-1.50 on Senior Day ... Majoring in multidisciplinary studies.
