NORMAN -- Eleven members of the University of Oklahoma wrestling team (3-4 overall) are headed to Reno, Nev., to participate in the Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday inside the Reno Events Center.
Twenty-two teams are competing in the annual tournament, which began in 1996. Participants include ranked squads in OU's Big 12 foe Oklahoma State (No. 8), Oregon State (No. 17) and Wyoming (No. 21). Team totals will be kept, with just one competitor per weight class counting toward the team total.
Competition will begin at 11 a.m. CT, with championship finals slated to begin at 7 p.m. CT. Live results will be available on Trackwrestling.com.
