NORMAN, Okla. - The 32nd-ranked Oklahoma men's tennis returns home to host second-ranked Virginia on Friday, March 18, and TCU on Sunday, March 20, at 1 p.m.

The Sooners (8-2) are riding a six-match winning streak after defeating then-No. 42 Arizona, 5-2, and San Diego State, 6-1, last weekend. Oklahoma will host its first match outdoors this year.

Virginia (16-0) has not given up more than two points to an opponent this season and claimed the ITA National Indoor title after defeating No.1 Tennessee, 4-0, in early February. The Cavaliers recently defeated LSU, 5-2, and Baylor, 6-1, on the road.

OU's regional opponent Sunday, TCU, is 4-8 on the year and all but one of their losses have come against top-40 opponenets. The Horned Frogs host Columbia and New Mexico State before heading to Norman.

The Sooners are led by senior Ionut Beleleu and reigning All-American Costin Paval. Beleleu, a native of Romania, is ranked No. 32 nationally. Fellow Romanian Paval checks in at No. 65 and Peerakit Siributwong, a newcomer from Thailand, rounds out the rankings at No. 113.

All six of Virginia's starters are ranked in the top-110. Alex Domijan and Michael Shabaz are ranked in the top-10 at No. 2 and 8, respectively. Sanam Singh is ranked No. 22, while Drew Courtney (No. 32) and Jarmere Jenkins (No. 37) round out the top 40. Julen Uriguen completes ranked Cavaliers at No. 109.

In doubles UVA has four ranked tandems and are led by Courtney and Shabaz, ranked No. 3. Domijan and Shabaz are No. 25, while Jenkins and Domijan are No. 27. Courtney and Steven Rooda sit at No. 59.

TCU is led by Emmanuel Bringhiu, ranked No. 74 nationally. Bringhiu and Christopher Price comprise the No. 44-ranked doubles team.

PAVAL PERFECT
Last year's Big 12 Newcomer of the Year is off to the best start of his career and is undefeated in singles action after going 7-0 at the No. 2 position and 2-0 at the No. 1 spot for the Sooners.

NEWCOMER ALERT
Roddick's squad has seen four newcomers compete in the singles lineup this year. Laurentiu Gavrila has been steady at the No. 3 position, while Peerakit Siributwong is 4-1 at the No. 4 spot and 2-0 at No. 3. Tsvetan Mihov (6-3) has been instrumental for the Sooners at the No. 5 position and Harry Warden has filled in at the No. 4 and 5 spots.

DOUBLES LINEUPS
Oklahoma has tried nine different doubles tandems throughout the season and have won a total of five doubles points.

GAVRILA THE GREAT
Laurentiu Gavrila, a Romanian native, comes to Norman with a multitude of accolades to his name, including a career-high ATP, Associated of Tennis Professionals, singles ranking of 888. In doubles Gavrila was ranked as high as 721 in the world. Gavrila has been instrumental manning the No. 3 spot for the Sooners where he boasts a 6-2 record (7-2 overall) and has won five straight.

LAST TIME OUT
Oklahoma is coming off a 6-1 victory over San Diego State and is riding a six-match winning streak.
