OU Signee Competing at World Jr. Championships

NORMAN, Okla. -- Incoming Oklahoma Track and Field student-athlete Caroline Erdhart is set to compete in this week's IAAF World Junior Championships as a member of Team Canada. The soon-to-be OU freshman is a three-time Canadian Junior National Champion, accomplishing the feat twice in the triple jump and once in the long jump. The Espanola, Ontario, native will compete in both events in front of fans from her home country in Moncton, Canada, and gets started with the triple jump on Wednesday.

Erdhart is a six-time Ontario state champion, winning three titles in both jumping events, and holds the Canadian Interscholastic Record in the triple jump with a distance. of 41-11.25 (12.78).
