AUSTIN, Texas — Coming off last year's NCAA 110-meter hurdles title, Ronnie Ash became the latest OU record holder Saturday at the Texas Invite in Austin as the Sooners collected seven individual tiles. Held at the site of the NCAA West Regional later this month, Ash won his fifth title of the year as the American leader remained undefeated on the year in the event.

Ash's time of 13.54 broke the Oklahoma program record by over a second as Harry Smith's previous record of 13.69 from 1976 fell with Ash's winning time. Joining Ash in the top three of the event was Malcolm Anderson who finished third overall with a season-best time of 13.79.

The hurdles is where it was at for the Sooners as Latoya Greaves won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.05. Greaves was one of three Sooners to finish in the top seven as Latoya Heath was sixth in 13.82 as Demeeka Jones was seventh.

The longer hurdles saw Eric Bailey win his fourth title of the season as the Portland, Ore., native won with a time of 50.76.

Amy Backel claimed her third javelin title of the season as the senior recorded a throw of 170-6 (51.97), her second longest throw of the season. OU took a 1-2 finish in the event as Brittany Borman claimed second with a toss of 164-2 (50.04).

The throws ring produced Oklahoma's second title of the day as K.P. Singh won the hammer throw for his fourth of the season and his third in as many weeks. Singh's throw of 204-11 (62.45) beat the field by over 18 feet.

Luke Bryant continued the throws ring dominance as the sophomore won the men's discus with a throw of 182-3 (55.56).  Bryant was one of two Sooners in the place as K.P. Singh was second with a throw of 180-10 (55.13).

The men's hammer throw gave Singh his fourth title of the season in the event as he finished first with a top throw of 204-11 (62.45).

Borman kept the win streak alive as she took first in the discus with a toss of 177-6 (54.11). The throw took the title by over 11 feet.

Karen Shump had the best finish by a collegiate competitor in the women's shot put as the redshirt-freshman finished second overall with a throw of 53-5.75 (16.30).

Jasmine Simmons was second in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 42-3.50 (12.89).  The distance is the fourth longest in OU history.

The quartet of Malcolm Anderson, Mookie Salaam, Remuro Henry and Evan Pierson finished second overall in the 4x100-meter relay with a season-best time of 39.80. The relay was less than two tenths of a second behind TCU's winning time of 39.63.

Following the 400 relay, Zach Dawson, Henry, Warren, Bailey finished the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 3:06.99 to finish second.
