BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The University of Oklahoma men's golf team finished the 54-hole Shoal Creek Intercollegiate in 12th place on Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala. The Sooners fired a final-round team score of 313 (+25) at the par-72, 7,154-yard layout.
Pacing the Sooners was Liam Logan, who fired a final-round 76. The sophomore finished the event in 36th-place at +13.
A stroke back was redshirt-freshman Riley Pumphrey, who concluded his second collegiate event in 39th. The Georgetown, Texas, product carded rounds of 78, 74 and 78.
Tyler Rody stood 41st at 14-over after rounds of 81, 74 and 76, while Ryan Sirman placed 58th after shooting a final-round 86.
After being disqualified late in round one, junior Ben Blundell carded rounds of 78 and 83 in closing the event.
"We are certainly disappointed with how we played this week," head coach Jim Ragan said. "Consistency is vital with any squad, especially a younger one, and we will work on that as we prepare for our upcoming events."

Overnight-leader Baylor held on for a two-stroke victory over Mississippi. The Bears shot a final-round team score of 299 (+11) for the narrow victory after Ole Miss carded a team score of 290 (+2) on Tuesday.
Rhys Enoch of East Tennessee St. fired a 1-under-par 71 in catching overnight leader Zack Sucher (UAB) for medalist honors at -2. Sucher shot 73 in today's final round.
OU's next tournament destination is New Haven, Conn., for the MacDonald Cup on Oct. 4-5.
