OU No. 2 Seed in Big 12 Tournament

NORMAN, Okla. The No. 3 Oklahoma softball team had to wait until this weekend to find out its final standing in the Big 12 Conference regular season.
 
The Sooners (49-6, 14-4) will be the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 Championship (May 10-12) behind conference champion Baylor (45-12, 14-3), whom the Sooners swept earlier this season.
 
Oklahoma will open tournament action on Friday at 11 a.m. at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The Sooners will take on the winner of 10th-seeded Iowa State and No. 7 seed Kansas, who play at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Big 12 Championship Bracket

The winner of Friday's game will advance to the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, which will be broadcast by Fox Sports. The championship game will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday and will also be broadcast live by Fox.
 
This year marks the first season the Big 12 Championship will be played under a single-elimination format.
