Rain Washes Out Softball Finale In Houston

Severe Weather Impacts WCWS in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Severe thunderstorms Saturday evening halted Women's College World Series action at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
 
The game between Oklahoma and Stanford was stopped with OU due at the plate in the top of the sixth inning. The Sooners hold a 2-1 lead on the Cardinal.
 
The schedule for Sunday has been revised:
 
Sunday, May 30
OU vs. Stanford (begins 6th inning) is scheduled for 9 a.m. on ESPN2. The LSU-Florida State game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the OU/Stanford game and will also be carried live on ESPN2. Session five tickets and ticket stubs will be honored for both of these games.
 
UCLA vs. the winner of OU/Stanford will begin at 1 p.m. on ESPN. Cal will play the winner of the LSU/Florida State game at 3:30 p.m. also on ESPN.

The "if necessary" games will be played at 6 and 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
