Women's Golf Team Remains In Fourth Place After Second Round

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The University of Oklahoma women's golf team remained in fourth place at the NMSU Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, N.M. on Tuesday. The Sooners narrowed the gap on first-place Arizona State to 11 strokes.

Sophomore Lisa Meldrum continues to pace the Sooners by firing back to back scores of 71. Currently in second place, Meldrum is four strokes off the lead. Junior Allison Johnson is in 13th place after carding a round of 74, while sophomore Hope Edge is in 18th place. Senior Jennifer Tannehill and freshman Emily Milberger are tied for 21st place with scores of 151. Senior Marsha Gonzaga is in 77th place with a score of 177.

Oklahoma will conclude the tournament tomorrow morning with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.
