Brandon Fait joined Oklahoma Athletics in August 2022 and serves as the Assistant Equipment Manager for Track & Field/Cross Country.

In this role, he is responsible for ordering equipment and apparel, managing the Nike allotment, outfitting athletes in equipment and apparel, inventory management, assisting with track meet management and setup, managing a group of five student equipment managers and assisting with logistical needs while traveling with the team.

Prior to his time with OU, he served as the Assistant Equipment Manger for Olympic Sports at Ball State from January 2022 to August 2022. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the equipment needs of ten Olympic sports, outfitting athletes in equipment and apparel, assisting coaches with ordering equipment and apparel, and inventory management duties.

Prior to Ball State, he was a Minor League Clubhouse Manager for the Miami Marlins from February 2019 to December 2021. He was with the Low-A Midwest League Champion Clinton LumberKings (IA) during the 2019 season and with the Rookie League Marlins (FL) during the 2021 season. He assisted the Marlins clubhouse staff with all spring trainings and postseason hitting camps, and was responsible for inventory management and outfitting athletes in equipment and apparel. He also managed the budget for pregame and postgame meals and oversaw catering.

Prior to his time with the Marlins, he was a student equipment manager at Kansas State from October 2015 to May 2016. In that role, he assisted with outfitting athletes in equipment and apparel, was responsible for inventory management duties, assisted with practices, games and offseason conditioning sessions. He also managed various sideline and laundry duties, and prepared fields for practices.

Fait earned his Bachelor of Science from Kansas State in journalism/mass communications with a minor in leadership studies. He earned his M.S. in sport administration from the University of Miami.

Prior to and during his time at K-State, he served as a ball boy and volunteer equipment manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers from July 2011 to December 2018.

His family in Norman includes his fiancée, Shelby. Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan and outdoorsman, and enjoys spending time with friends.
