NORMAN — Behind four home runs at the plate and a five-inning complete game from freshman
Allyssa Parker, No. 1/1 Oklahoma (42-6, 15-3 SEC) defeated No. 6/8 Arkansas (36-8, 11-7 SEC), 11-1, in five innings Sunday, April 19.
The win clinched a series victory for the Sooners, who have now won all six league series this season.

Abby Dayton went deep, bringing Oklahoma to 158 home runs for the season. As a team, the Sooners are just four homers away from setting the NCAA single-season team home run record. At the individual level, Wells tied Jocelyn Alo for the program's single-season home run record at 34.

Kendall Wells brought OU immediate energy on defense in the first, throwing out leadoff batter Reagan Johnson at second on a ball in the dirt.

After
Ella Parker walked,
Isabela Emerling hammered a 0-0 pitch 269 feet to left center for a two-run homer, giving the Sooners a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
OU really put a dent into its eventual run total for the day, plating five runs in the second inning. Dayton delivered a towering two-run home run inside the right field foul pole and Wells crushed a three-run homer to left center.
Allyssa Parker spun zeros in the next frames as OU reached run-rule territory with a four-run fourth.
Ella Parker started a two-out rally with a double off the left field wall. Wells reached on a sharply hit infield single and Emerling dropped in an RBI single to right center. Garcia completed the scoring with a line drive three-run home run just over the wall in left field.
Arkansas scored one run on two singles and a walk in the fifth, but
Allyssa Parker closed things with a strikeout of Kailey Wyckoff.
