NORMAN — Oklahoma Softball is well represented in the 2025 World Games to take place in Chengdu, China, August 13-17, with seven Sooners competing for the United States at the international event.
OU's
Jayda Coleman,
Tiare Jennings and
Kelly Maxwell are on the United States' 15-player roster, while
Kinzie Hansen will serve as an alternate.
Patty Gasso leads the U.S. as head coach in her first international event leading the team, while
JT Gasso and
Jennifer Rocha will also serve in assistant coaching roles.
Eight countries are represented across the event, with the U.S. competing in Group A against the Netherlands, China and Chinese Taipei.
