NORMAN — The Oklahoma rowing team secured a pair of victories in its season opener at the Michigan and Ohio State double dual in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday.
In the morning session, Oklahoma's 2V8+ took the win in the race's second half, crossing the line 1.3 seconds ahead of the Wolverines. The Sooners met Ohio State in the second session of the day, besting the Buckeyes in the 1V4+.
Up next, Oklahoma meets Vanderbilt for a scrimmage in Oklahoma City on April 5 before heading to Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., on April 18-19 for the Big Ten Challenge.
