PRINCETON, N.J. — Oklahoma rowing capped off its fall season with a trio of top-ten finishes at the Princeton Chase in Princeton, N.J. on Sunday.
The Sooners 1V8+ delivered a strong performance, clinching seventh in the W8+ among 63 collegiate boats. Later in the afternoon, the 1V4+ and 2V4+ finished seventh and tenth, respectively. The 3V4+ and 4V4+ also finished in the top-15 among a crew of 34 boats.
"Today was a great day of racing for our team and we're appreciative of Princeton for hosting," said head rowing coach
Sarah Trowbridge. "Our seniors and coxswains showed lots of intention and our team as a whole showed greater depth speed. We are looking forward to getting back to Oklahoma and some good late-fall rowing."
OU's spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
